I’m Sarah, a K–12 art educator and practicing visual artist specializing in impressionistic acrylic painting and ceramics. My work investigates emotion, movement, and freedom through color, line, and form, capturing the intensity and unpredictability of lived experience. Through expressive mark-making and bold palettes, I explore the sensation of “riding the wave” of life—where control gives way to instinct and momentum.

During the pandemic, I expanded my practice by developing original online art lessons, making meaningful, real-world art education accessible to students beyond the classroom. This commitment continues to inform my studio work, grounding it in both exploration and purpose.
